Overview
ALK gene fusion probe is designed to identify rearrangements of the Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK) gene on chromosome 2p23. It is a critical diagnostic step for patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) to determine eligibility for targeted ALK kinase inhibitors like crizotinib.
