Overview
RARA (17q21) probe is used to identify rearrangements involving the Retinoic Acid Receptor Alpha (RARA) gene on chromosome 17. It is most commonly used to diagnose Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL), typically characterized by the translocation fusing PML and RARA.
