Overview
TERC gene amplification probe is used to detect copy number variations of the human telomerase RNA component (TERC) gene on chromosome 3q26.2. This kit is primarily used as an adjunct to cervical cytology (Pap smears) to identify patients at high risk of progressing from pre-cancerous lesions to invasive cervical cancer.
