Overview
D13S319 gene probe is used to detect deletions of the 13q14.3 locus. This is the most common genetic abnormality in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), occurring in more than 50% of cases. While primarily known for its role in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), it is also used to evaluate other B-cell malignancies like Multiple Myeloma and Mantle Cell Lymphoma.
