Overview
DDIT3(12q13) gene rearrangement probe is designed to detect translocations involving the DDIT3 gene (also known as CHOP or GADD153). This probe is the gold standard for diagnosing Myxoid Liposarcoma (MLS), as over 95% of these tumors harbor a rearrangement that fuses DDIT3 with either the FUS or EWSR1 gene.
