Overview
NFATC2 gene break apart is designed to detect chromosomal translocations involving the NFATC2 gene at the 20q13.2 locus. This probe is chiefly used to diagnose rare, aggressive round cell sarcomas (often termed "Ewing-like" sarcomas) that feature fusions between NFATC2 and partners like EWSR1 or FUS.
