Overview
KMT2A/ELL gene fusion probe is used to detect the t(11; 19)(q23.3; p13.1) translocation, the rearrangement that fuses KMT2A gene on chromosome 11 with ELL gene on chromosome 19 and is found most in patients with KMT2A rearrangements (5-11%) of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
